From One Who Loved You

I didn't cry
when I heard of his passing
his Presence this morning
on the edge of a dream
was stronger than it had ever been

less of him to hug
more of him to Know

I cried later
that was from frustration
I'd rather know less
and hug more

The sun is hiding today
I think he's ashamed
to steal our Friend like that

HIs Teahouse of the Mullah's Donkey
was our haven
a place where we all learned to love

His Teahouse of the Mullah's Donkey
is a place somewhere in time
and maybe that Place will come again
in the scent of coffee on the morning breeze
with the wild gypsy music wafting
and the happy greeting of good friends
awaiting that smiling visage.

while we're waiting,
we'll raise our mugs high

then get back to work
and keep at Creating
our Meeting Place of the Heart

In memory of Don Wendell Brown
who died today in the loving arms of his friends
He will be sadly missed by many.
In Quantum Peace.

Don touched so many lives in such a positive fashion, we truly had a peaceful place with him. Thanks for sharing.

Just learned of Don's passing - a year and a half later! I was probably his last employer, other than himself & his catering gig, and he got us out of alot of binds and saved our reputation many times! (I own a same-day transportation service). Don was so dang funny. Such a big heart, to match the big man! You ARE in a better place, Don Brown.....NOT DONALD Brown like I used to tease you about! See you on the other side whenever I am chosen to go.
