Is this Warsaw Redux?

In Warsaw, they built a wall to keep the Jews in the ghetto. They cut them off from from the outside world, they stopped incoming food, and many people starved, and died. There was a resistance that formed to fight for freedom. The tolls were terrible, the Nazis had a policy of shooting 10 poles for every German killed. This was one of the reasons that the US joined WWII, the last 'good war'. The Jewish state of Israel was established in part, because of this holocaust, the massive war against the Jews. Never again was genocide to be practiced.

Fast forward to the present. Another wall has been built. Another ethnic group has been sequestered, and they are starving. After a short cease fire, the embargo was not lifted; there was still wide spread starvation. Finally, again, some home made rockets were lobbed; in the tradition of resistance fighters, the battle was on. People in Gaza were dying from lack of food and medical care. Can we really blame Hamas, the elected government, for fighting back? What would you do, faced with starving children?

What has happened to Israel, the builders of the new wall? Is it true that we become what we fight? Have the leaders of Israel become the Nazis they professed to hate? What possesses them? I understand not wanting rockets to fall on innocents. But the casualties of this war echo the ten to one of the Nazis. This is not an 'eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth'—this is wholesale slaughter.

I have read that Israel has elections coming up. Is this war truly an electoral bid? If so, what must we do to get the war-mongers out of office? I am hearing from people on various lists, who contribute from inside Israel, that this is not a popular war, but that they feel powerless against the state. Only one by one are we powerless. Join with your neighbors, call your friends. Take your elections, take to the streets. Vote. Vote for peace. Vote with your heart and with your feet, vote with your actions and with your wallet. Lay down your arms. Rain bread, not bombs. It's not too late.

Not yet.

In quantum peace

What a demagogic Falsetinian ProPALganda equation between the Jews in Europe under Nazi occupation and the Gazans that are already free in Gaza, but chose to proceed with their terror.
Jews never doubt their loyalty to any country they lived in, and they were loyal to Germany as the best Germans were ever. Jews never suicide bombed the Germans and sent rockets on to them. Jews contributed to the welfare and prosperity of Germany.
The Palestinian Arabs never admitted that Jews have the right to live in their own national state in the Holy Land. They terrorized the Jews from the first time they understood that Jews are going to create their state there. They exploded and used explosives, they murdered, they kidnapped, they tortured and they burned the Jews. They related to the Jews as pigs and apes. If you remember, the Palestinian Arabs cooperated in a join task with the Nazis in catching and sending Jews, Gypsies and revolutionary Serbs in former Yugoslavia to the Gas chambers in Auschwitz.

You can't play with you phony script as you wish. You have to stick to the truth and not invent a new Falsetinian history!
In WWII Europe and now days in Israel Holy Land Jews are the victims!

As far as propaganda goes, you sound like you are an arm of it, fer sure. Yes, absolutely the Jews were the victims in Warsaw. They also fought back bravely and heroically. The Jews are not the victims now. Victims are not armed with phosphorous bombs, DIME bombs, cluster bombs, and the whole arsenal of the Jewish state.

Did you read your paragraph? "They terrorized the Jews from the first time they understood that Jews are going to create their state there." That's not terrorism, that's self defense. The Native Americans fought back too, when the early settlers decided they needed their land. Just because the state calls someone a terrorist doesn't make it so.

Gazans are as free behind their wall as the Jews were in their Ghetto. Maybe you really need to get better news and history sources. And as for demagogery, you may have me beat hands down.

I don't agree with suicide bombing. I don't agree with any bombing. If you had read any of this blog at all, you would know that.
You appear to be fishing for keywords, and trolling YOUR propaganda. That's your right.

Although, upon reflection the whole Nazi connection may be inappropriate. I provide a link to http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/article_1093.shtml, where one of the Jewish citizens explains it so much more eloquently than I. The author states that it really is unfair to compare present day Israel to Nazi Germany. He says that Israel has its own brand of evil. Upon reflection, I think he may be right.
